Don:
It has been quite a while since we've heard anything from you about how the SkyGuard TWX Transceiver certification is going. Seems like things are not progressing very well in getting the approval. Can you give us an update on what the holdup is with the FAA certification? Is it ever going to be a certified unit? ===Ralph

Ralph: The FAA recently (just after Christmas) requested some additional documentation
for our Company Quality System Procedures. We prepared those docs and sent
in to the FAA. We are currently waiting for their response. Also, there were some
reorganizational changes in the local FAA ACO office that we work with and our project
was reassigned to a different FAA engineer.
Now we have to start educating that person on all our progress and data submitted
so far. I am sorry this is taking so long, but the FAA seems to be the most inefficient
government agency I have dealt with. And yes, I do believe we will eventually get
our product TSO'd but I cannot give you a data at this time.

Don:
Thank you very much for your response. I feel your pain. It's a shame you are not in another region . I was in a meeting last week with a Program Manger from the Great Lakes ACO and those guys are really good to work with. Hang in there. You have a good product. As we used to say in the USAF, "Illegitimi Non Carborundum." (you can look up the translation from the Latin). ===Ralph

It pretends to mean "Don't let the bastards wear you down." Mixing up fake Latin from English words for comic effect
